Cymbiotika NMN + Trans-Resveratrol

A capsule supplement combining NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) with trans-resveratrol, apigenin, green tea extract and green coffee bean. 60 vegan capsules per bottle, designed for daily use. Contains naturally-occurring caffeine.

What It Is

Cymbiotika NMN + Trans-Resveratrol is a multi-component dietary supplement combining five plant-derived and biosynthesised compounds in a vegetable cellulose capsule:

  • NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) — a compound naturally present in trace amounts in some foods and produced by the body
  • Trans-resveratrol (98% pure) — a polyphenol naturally found in grape skins, red wine, peanuts and some berries
  • Apigenin (98% pure) — a flavonoid naturally present in parsley, chamomile, celery and other plants
  • Green tea extract — standardised to 20% L-theanine
  • Green coffee bean extract — standardised to 10% caffeine

The formula is designed for once-daily use, taken with a fat-containing meal for optimal absorption of the fat-soluble compounds.

About the Key Components

NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide)

NMN is a small molecule that occurs naturally in trace amounts in some foods, including avocados, broccoli, cabbage, edamame and tomatoes. It is also produced endogenously by the body. NMN is one of several precursor compounds in the broader vitamin B3 (niacin) family.

NMN supplementation is a relatively new category in dietary supplement formulations.

Trans-Resveratrol

Trans-resveratrol is the bioactive form of resveratrol — a polyphenol compound naturally found in grape skins, red wine, peanuts, berries and Japanese knotweed (the most common commercial source). The Cymbiotika formulation uses a 98% pure trans-resveratrol extract.

Apigenin

Apigenin is a flavonoid — a class of plant-derived compounds — naturally found in parsley, chamomile, celery, oranges and other plants. Cymbiotika uses a 98% pure apigenin extract.

Green Tea Extract

A standardised extract of green tea (Camellia sinensis), supplying 20% L-theanine — an amino acid naturally present in tea leaves.

Green Coffee Bean Extract

A standardised extract of unroasted coffee beans, supplying 10% caffeine. This contributes a small amount of naturally-occurring caffeine to the formula.

Directions for Use

Take 2 capsules once daily. Best taken with a fat-containing meal.

Why with a fat-containing meal? Resveratrol is poorly soluble in water but is fat-soluble. Taking it with dietary fat can support absorption of the resveratrol component.

Refer to the product label for full guidance. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Caffeine Notice

This product contains naturally-occurring caffeine from green coffee bean extract. The amount per serve is small (estimated low single-digit milligrams), but those who are sensitive to caffeine, monitoring their intake, or taking the product later in the day should be aware.

For best results and to avoid potential interference with sleep, take this supplement earlier in the day rather than in the evening.

Good to Know

Why is NMN paired with resveratrol?

NMN and resveratrol are commonly grouped together in supplement formulations because both compounds are studied within the same field of cellular biology research. Combining them in a single formula is a stylistic choice favoured by some supplement brands.

What does “trans-resveratrol” mean?

Resveratrol exists in two structural forms (called isomers): cis-resveratrol and trans-resveratrol. Trans-resveratrol is the more chemically stable form and is the form used in most supplement research and commercial products. The Cymbiotika formula uses 98% pure trans-resveratrol.

When should I take it?

Take the daily dose with a fat-containing meal earlier in the day — ideally breakfast or lunch. Taking it later in the day is not recommended due to the green coffee bean extract’s caffeine content.
