Bulletproof Coffee Starter Kit — MCT Edition
Everything you need to try Bulletproof Coffee at home — bundled together at a saving versus buying each item separately. Includes Bulletproof coffee and Bulletproof MCT Oil (C8+C10 blend).
A more economical starter option than the Brain Octane Edition kit. Choose ground or whole bean coffee using the variant selector above.
What’s in the Kit
- The Original Bulletproof Coffee (340g) — medium roast Arabica, single-origin from estate farms in Guatemala and Colombia. Available as ground or whole bean depending on the variant you choose.
- Bulletproof MCT Oil (473mL) — a C8+C10 medium-chain triglyceride blend from coconut oil. No lauric acid. More economical per mL than the pure-C8 Brain Octane Oil.

The Bulletproof Coffee Recipe
"Bulletproof Coffee" combines brewed coffee with grass-fed butter (or ghee) and MCT oil, blended to a creamy consistency.
Bulletproof Coffee Preparation
- Brew 2 cups of coffee using the method of your choice
- Combine with 2 tablespoons of unsalted grass-fed butter (or grass-fed ghee for a dairy-free option — not included in this kit)
- Add 2 tablespoons of Bulletproof MCT Oil
- Blend in a high-speed blender (or use an Aerolatte® frother) until a creamy head of foam forms
- Pour and drink while hot
Note: This kit doesn’t include butter or ghee — you’ll need to add your own (unsalted grass-fed butter from the supermarket, or add grass-fed ghee to your order for a dairy-free version).
Good to Know
MCT Edition vs Brain Octane Edition — which starter kit is right for me?
This MCT Edition kit uses Bulletproof MCT Oil — a C8+C10 blend. The Brain Octane Edition uses Brain Octane Oil — 100% C8, more concentrated per tablespoon and priced higher. Both make the same recipe. If you want to keep the cost down for a first trial and see how you like the recipe, this MCT Edition kit is the more economical entry point.
Ground or whole bean coffee?
Ground is ready to brew — convenient, no grinder needed. Whole beans stay fresher longer because the intact bean protects volatile aromatic compounds from oxidation. If you have a coffee grinder and want the freshest cup, pick whole beans. If you don’t, ground works.
How long does the kit last?
The 340g coffee bag makes roughly 20–25 cups of Bulletproof Coffee. The 473mL MCT bottle is about 31 servings at 2 tablespoons each. So both components run out at roughly the same rate if you make one Bulletproof Coffee per day.
Start small on the MCT oil
If you’re new to MCT oil, begin with 1 teaspoon per day and work up to the full 2 tablespoons over a week or two. Taking too much too quickly is a common cause of digestive discomfort — MCTs are absorbed differently from other fats, and the gut may need time to adapt.
