CoQ10 + PQQ + C8 MCT  ·  30 Softgels  ·  Caffeine-Free

Bulletproof CoQ10 Energy®

A softgel supplement combining Coenzyme Q10 with PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) in a base of Bulletproof Brain Octane® C8 MCT Oil. Caffeine-free, gluten-free and non-GMO. 30 softgels per bottle.

What It Is

A daily softgel that pairs two well-known cellular nutrients — Coenzyme Q10 and PQQ — with Bulletproof Brain Octane® C8 MCT Oil as the carrier base.

CoQ10 and PQQ are both compounds found naturally in the body. The C8 MCT oil base provides a fat-soluble carrier that helps deliver these compounds in softgel form.

Product Highlights

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) – a compound naturally produced by the body and present in cellular mitochondria
PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) – a compound found in trace amounts in foods including kiwifruit, parsley, green tea and fermented soybeans
Brain Octane® C8 MCT Oil base – pure caprylic acid (C8) MCT oil as the fat-soluble carrier
Caffeine-free – no stimulants
Once-daily softgel – convenient single softgel format
Clean ingredient list – gluten-free, non-GMO, no artificial colours or preservatives

About the Key Components

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10)

Coenzyme Q10 — also called ubiquinone — is a compound the body produces naturally and concentrates in the mitochondria of cells. It is also present in trace amounts in foods including organ meats, fatty fish, and some vegetables. Natural CoQ10 levels in the body tend to be highest in young adulthood and gradually decline with age.

CoQ10 is one of the most widely used supplemental nutrients globally and is supplied in this product as ubiquinone, the oxidised form.

PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone)

PQQ is a small redox cofactor compound found in trace amounts in some plant foods, including kiwifruit, parsley, green peppers, fermented soybeans (natto) and green tea. It is included in this formula as a complementary nutrient to CoQ10.

Brain Octane® C8 MCT Oil

Bulletproof’s Brain Octane® oil is a 100% pure caprylic acid (C8) medium-chain triglyceride. In this product, it serves as the fat-soluble carrier base for the softgel — CoQ10 and PQQ are both fat-soluble compounds, and an MCT oil base is a common delivery format for this category of nutrient.

Directions for Use

Take 1 softgel daily, with or without food. For best consistency, take at the same time each day.

Refer to the product label for full guidance. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Good to Know

What’s the difference between ubiquinone and ubiquinol?

Ubiquinone and ubiquinol are the two forms of CoQ10 found in the body. Ubiquinone is the oxidised form; ubiquinol is the reduced form. The body converts between the two depending on cellular requirements. It uses ubiquinone, the more shelf-stable of the two forms.

Why is C8 MCT oil used as the base?

CoQ10 and PQQ are both fat-soluble compounds. Softgel formulations of these nutrients typically use a fat-based carrier oil. Bulletproof uses their Brain Octane® pure caprylic acid C8 MCT oil as that carrier.

Does this contain caffeine?

No. It is caffeine-free and contains no other stimulants.
