About This Product

Kimera Koffee Dark Roast is a 100% Arabica ground coffee from a single origin — a family-run farm in the mountain ranges of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, at approximately 1,500m elevation.

The coffee is blended with four functional ingredients: Alpha-glycerophosphocholine (Alpha GPC), Taurine, L-Theanine, and Ginkgo Biloba extract. The blend supplies approximately 725mg of the proprietary ingredient mix per cup alongside the coffee's naturally-occurring caffeine.

The dark roast profile develops a deeply robust, complex, nutty flavour. The wet-processing method aids in bean preservation and flavour development.

Sourcing & Origin

The coffee beans are grown on a family-run farm in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic, at approximately 1,500m elevation. High-altitude growing conditions typically produce beans with a slower ripening cycle and more complex flavour development.

The farm uses wet-processing methods and continues to plant a diversity of trees to prevent soil erosion and maintain soil quality. The operation uses bio-digesters to recycle cherry pulp into methane fuel that helps power the facility — a closed-loop sustainability practice.

The result is a deeply robust yet not overpowering coffee with a complex, nutty flavour profile.

After not drinking Kimera Koffee for over a year, my first drink had a profound affect on me. I was alert, focused, determined and the dark roast taste was just awesome. This is now a staple in my daily routine.

Was a bit sceptical of this coffee given all the claims and price point. After a few goes, noticed it wasn’t at all irritating (stomach wise) and I haven’t felt any kind of ‘jittery’ sensation, although I keep it to one cup a day. It’s a really satisfying dark roast to treat myself to every now and then when rotating coffee brands.

This coffee makes my mornings working construction easier, as well as strength training or bjj directly after a labor-intensive shift. The taste is excellent. I couldn't recommend it enough. The only problem is how quickly you'll go through the bag if you're smashing two cups a day. Get some.

Best Coffee by Miles

First time I have purchased this coffee and will certainly be purchasing again and again. The very first time I made myself a cup of Kemera Koffee I made it into a Bulletproof coffee. I added Collagen, Bulletproof Brain Octane and Ghee and the brewed Koffee into my thermomix and it came out perfect. The taste was creamy and there was no crashes after I drank it. In fact when I took the first mouthful I sensed a difference whereby my brain felt more alert and focused. Now I cant get enough of it. I look forward to drinking this coffee every morning. I usually don't drink coffee in the afternoon however I will try a cup when I am holidays and there is no expectations required of me the next day in the event I don't sleep well that night. No matter what, I LOVE THIS COFFEE!

It's pretty decent. I like the flavour, but it doesn't stand out as anything exceptional. I will admit that I prefer to use this rather than normal coffee from a cafe though. I do feel like it gives that extra nudge I need for productivity, but without the jitters that a strong cuppa would have. Would have been 5 stars if the flavour really stood out as something interesting!
