About Creatine
Creatine is a compound naturally produced by the body, primarily in the liver, kidneys, and pancreas. It’s synthesised from three amino acids — arginine, glycine, and methionine — and stored predominantly in skeletal muscle.
Creatine is also obtained from the diet, with the highest natural concentrations in red meat and fish (typically providing around 1-2 g per 250 g serving). Most vegetarians and vegans have lower endogenous creatine stores due to the lack of dietary intake from animal sources.
Creatine is one of the most extensively studied sports nutrition ingredients. Under FSANZ Standard 2.9.4, creatine is specifically permitted as an ingredient in Formulated Supplementary Sports Foods.
About L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid — meaning the body can produce it on its own. It’s found naturally in many foods, including meat, eggs, dairy products, beans, and certain vegetables.
