PerfectAmino is a tablet supplement providing all nine essential amino acids in free-form. Essential amino acids are the amino acids the human body cannot make on its own and must obtain from the diet.
In whole-food protein sources (eggs, meat, dairy, beans, grains), amino acids are bound together in protein molecules. The body breaks these molecules down during digestion to release the individual amino acids. Free-form amino acid supplements bypass this digestion step — the amino acids are already separate, ready to be absorbed.
PerfectAmino is also supplemented with nucleic acid building blocks (nucleosides and nucleotides) — the molecular components of DNA and RNA.

What are essential amino acids?
Amino acids are the molecular building blocks of protein. Of the 20 amino acids used by the human body, nine are classified as “essential” — meaning the body cannot synthesise them and must obtain them from dietary sources. The remaining 11 are non-essential, meaning the body can synthesise them from other amino acids (provided sufficient essential amino acids are available).
What does “free-form” mean?
In whole-food protein sources, amino acids are bound together in protein molecules. The body breaks these down during digestion to release the individual amino acids for absorption. Free-form amino acid supplements skip this step — the amino acids are already in their individual form.
Why is L-Histidine included?
Histidine is sometimes referred to as a “conditionally essential” amino acid — the adult body can synthesise it under most conditions, but synthesis may not be sufficient in certain population groups (infants, some elderly people, people in particular physiological states). PerfectAmino was reformulated to include L-Histidine alongside the other eight essential amino acids for broader applicability.
Where are the amino acids sourced from?
The amino acids are derived from plant sources (beans and peas). The plant material is fermented to break down the proteins, then the individual amino acids are extracted using centrifugal separation. The end product is pharmaceutical-grade crystalline free amino acids with no residual plant material, no sugars, and none of the common allergens listed above.

I recently did the 7 bridges walk (28km) in Sydney. I'm pleased to say - Good as Gold - the next day... and I put it all down to these Perfect Aminos. Sadly, I am no spring chicken (now in my 60's) and these keep me active and energised. Love em!
Recovering from illness resulting in extreme fatigue and muscle wastage, plus a vegetarian diet (and was eating up to 6 eggs per day for protein) so decided to try these. One week in, started with 5 first thing in the morning before my walk, then have just upped to 5 before bedtime also as have just started light exercise again and am quite sore. Easy to take, nothing unpleasant - am aware may need to wait several weeks for marked results but am hopeful after reading reviews that these will be good for my body’s recovery in many ways.
Hi, I have been taking Perfect Amino since 2004 it was then known as MAP I came across it went I did the Hawaiian Ironman Triathlon, I was desperate I said to my wife I’m not going to finish this race till I went to the EXPO and talked Dr Minkoff a week before the race he advised me to take 10 a day for a week take 10 before the race and 5 every four hours during the race I finished the race and felt like I could keep going, and I put it down to Perfect Amino (MAP), Since then I have completed 29 Ironman, I’m 69 and currently training to do my 30 Ironman, I put my longevity in the sport to Perfect Amino lots of stretching and a good training program, I take 5 in the morning and 5 at night every day and on heavy training days 5 more, if any athletes out there Struggles with training and recovery I would suggest you give it ago, its good now that we have a supplier in Australia for years I had to pay in US dollars and pay shipping also.
