Akkermansia muciniphila

Akkermansia muciniphila is a bacterial species naturally present in the human intestinal tract. It lives within the mucus layer of the gut wall and is studied as a probiotic ingredient. This formula uses the Akk11 strain, supplied as a live culture at 100 million AFU (active fluorescent units) at time of manufacture.

Selenium (L-Selenomethionine)

Selenium is an essential trace mineral found naturally in foods including Brazil nuts, fish, eggs and whole grains. This formula uses L-selenomethionine, an organic form of selenium bonded to the amino acid methionine.

Turmeric Extract

Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a flowering plant in the ginger family, native to South Asia. This formula uses a standardised turmeric extract supplying 10% curcuminoids in a nano-emulsified form.

PerfectAmino® Essential Amino Acids

BodyHealth’s proprietary blend of essential amino acids combined with a nucleotide complex. The same blend is used across BodyHealth’s PerfectAmino product line, included here in a small amount as a complementary ingredient.

Vanadium (Vanadyl Sulfate)

Vanadium is a trace mineral found naturally in some foods including mushrooms, shellfish, spinach and parsley. This formula supplies vanadium in the vanadyl sulfate form.

Lithium (Lithium Orotate)

Lithium orotate is the lithium salt of orotic acid. This formula supplies 5 mg of lithium orotate, providing a small amount of elemental lithium — substantially lower than the doses found in prescription lithium medications. Refer to important safety information below.

Other Ingredients

Microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable (hypromellose) capsule, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Directions for Use

Take 1 capsule daily, with or without food.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not required but may extend probiotic viability.

Important Lithium Safety Information

This product contains 5 mg of lithium orotate (providing a small amount of elemental lithium). While this is substantially lower than the doses used in prescription lithium medications:

• Do NOT use this product if you are taking prescription lithium for any reason.
• Do NOT use this product if you are taking any psychiatric medication (including antidepressants, antipsychotics, anxiolytics or mood stabilisers) without consulting your prescribing doctor.
• Do NOT use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Lithium is contraindicated in pregnancy.
• Do NOT use if you have any kidney or thyroid condition without consulting your healthcare practitioner.
• Do NOT use if you are dehydrated, have a fever, or are taking diuretics — these conditions can affect how the body handles lithium.

Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before use if you have any pre-existing medical condition or take any prescription medication.

Important Vanadium Safety Information

This product contains 10 mg of vanadyl sulfate. Vanadium can affect blood sugar levels.

• Do NOT use this product if you have diabetes or are taking any medication for blood sugar management without consulting your prescribing doctor. Vanadium can interact with diabetes medications.
• Do NOT use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Do NOT use if you are taking blood-thinning medications without consulting your healthcare practitioner.
