PerfectAmino Pre-Workout is a drink powder designed for use before training. Unlike many similar products in this category, it contains no caffeine, no other stimulants and no beta-alanine. The formula combines four distinct ingredient categories:
- 9g L-Citrulline, L-Arginine and Pomegranate blend — the largest active component of the formula
- PerfectAmino® essential amino acid & nucleotide blend — the same proprietary blend used across BodyHealth’s PerfectAmino product line
- 670mg blend — resveratrol, pomegranate seed extract, polydatin, AMP and GMP nucleotides

Why These Specific Ingredient Forms?
L-Citrulline, L-Arginine and Pomegranate
L-citrulline and L-arginine are non-essential amino acids commonly used in sports nutrition formulations. Pomegranate extract is included as a complementary plant compound. The 9g combined blend is one of the larger ingredient stacks of its category in this product class.
PerfectAmino® Essential Amino Acids & Nucleotides
Includes BodyHealth’s blend of all nine essential and conditionally-essential amino acids in free-form: leucine, valine, isoleucine, lysine, phenylalanine, threonine, methionine, tryptophan and histidine.
Paired with a full nucleotide complex: uridine, adenosine triphosphate, thymidine, adenine, and three deoxy-nucleosides (deoxyadenosine, deoxyguanosine, deoxycytidine).
Resveratrol, Pomegranate Seed, Polydatin and Nucleotides Blend (670mg)
A blend including resveratrol (from Polygonum cuspidatum stem extract), pomegranate seed extract, polydatin, and the nucleotides AMP (adenosine monophosphate) and GMP (guanosine monophosphate). On the product label this is named the "BH4 Stimulation Blend".
Folate as L-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate
The active form of folate — the form the body uses directly — rather than the synthetic folic acid that requires conversion in the body. Many people prefer the methylated form.
Zinc as Bisglycinate Chelate
A chelated form of zinc bonded to the amino acid glycine, often preferred for its absorption profile compared to inorganic zinc forms (such as zinc oxide or zinc sulphate).

Directions for Use
Mix 1 scoop with 300–600 mL (10–20 oz) of water. Take 10–20 minutes before training.
For best results, use consistently as part of your training routine. Can be combined with PerfectAmino tablets or PerfectAmino Creatine for additional training-nutrition support.

Good to Know
Why no caffeine or stimulants?
PerfectAmino Pre-Workout is designed for athletes who prefer a caffeine-free option. Caffeine-free formulas are popular among those who train later in the day (when caffeine could interfere with sleep), those who consume caffeine separately from coffee or tea, or those who simply prefer to train without added stimulants.
Why no beta-alanine?
Beta-alanine is a common ingredient in training-formula drinks that produces a tingling sensation on the skin (paresthesia) at typical doses. Some users find this unpleasant. PerfectAmino Pre-Workout omits beta-alanine for a smoother sensory experience.
Will it interfere with sleep if I train late?
No. The formula is caffeine-free and contains no other stimulants, making it suitable for evening training sessions.
Is this suitable for people with phenylketonuria (PKU)?
No. This product contains free-form L-Phenylalanine as part of the PerfectAmino blend. Individuals with PKU must carefully manage phenylalanine intake from all dietary sources and should not consume this product.
What does it taste like?
Naturally flavoured with citric acid, stevia (Rebaudioside M) and monk fruit. No artificial sweeteners. Mixes cleanly into water.

Phenylketonurics: This product contains free-form L-Phenylalanine as part of the PerfectAmino blend. Not suitable for individuals with phenylketonuria (PKU).
High-dose folate and zinc: This product provides 2,670mcg DFE folate (above the standard 1,000mcg/day upper level for synthetic folic acid) and 20mg zinc (above the 14mg adult RDI) per serve. The folate is supplied as the methylated active form L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate. Limit consumption of other folate- or zinc-containing supplements when using this product. Consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before regular use if you have a condition affecting folate or zinc metabolism.
