      I like dark humor and dark colored foods a lot. You might remember from a previous newsletter that dark colored foods are often linked with longevity and great skin. Here are some reasons to love each one:


      100% fair trade organic Arabica coffee
      This shade-grown, organic coffee is grown in the volcanic soil of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas highlands in Mexico. After roasting and brewing the beans, we concentrate the coffee by evaporation. It's finished off by spray-drying it into a pure instant powder. This gives you the deliciously grounding taste of coffee with 50mg caffeine—much less than your regular cuppa. 


      Criollo variety cacao
      You know the origins of your coffee beans, but do you know the origins of your cacao beans? Criollo variety cacao, grown in the foothills of the Andes in Peru, is considered to be the highest quality and best-tasting cacao out there. So of course, we needed to use it.
