Wheat glutens are a problem for a small group of individuals who have allergies to these proteins (primarily for persons suffering from celiac disease). Glutens are plant derived proteins. Gelatin is produced entirely from animals and contains absolutely no gluten.

Lactose & Casein Free. Ghee is made by heating butter to evaporate the water and skimming off the milk solids that rise to the surface. The remaining clarified butter is then double strained through a fine filter colander which removes any remaining impurities and leaves us with a pure and intensely flavourful sweet and nutty ghee which is usually 99% free of potentially inflammatory lactose or casein. A true superfood, it's perfect to try for strict Paleos who want to taste something other than coconut oil. It's also a great option to try if you can't tolerate butter.
